Sarah Winchester grew up in Vermont and Massachusetts singing folk songs and hymns with her family, who pretty much went to church for the music alone. She would go on to perform with various choirs, write her own songs, and develop chronic stage fright. She studied sound performance and visual art at Massachusetts College of Art & Design, and recently earned her Master's in Social Work from Smith College. Sarah was the co-vocalist and drummer for the Portland, Oregon band A Weather, and has recorded and performed with AU and Ohioan, among others. She currently lives in Western Massachusetts with too many houseplants and not enough dogs.
Note: Northeast Kingdom was previously released on Team Love Records as a digital download; Sarah is very grateful to Mt. Home Arts for giving these songs a cool cassette to live in.
